INTO THE WOODS is House of Goblin’s solstice ceramic tableware collection for December 2024, celebrating themes of substrate, soil and the clandestine behavior of the organisms that thrive from autumnal darkness. This is a body of work galvanized by ancient human-made and mycorrhizal forms of the Earth and the myths which have derived from this seasonal landscape, forming our broader relationship to it. In this series of glazed stoneware ceramics HoG has made mushroom Lamps, Fossil Sconces, Snail platters, snail bowls, Toad Spawn plates and Fogou cups. All photographed by Maisie Cousins.
