KNWLS’s Spring / Summer 2025 collection is an unforgettable blend of atmospheric nostalgia and futuristic edge, held in a venue that perfectly embodied the tension between past and future. Designers Charlotte Knowles and Alexandre Arsenault were given the run of the old Central Saint Martins building in Holborn, a once-bustling space that had sat dormant since 2011. As the show began, the sounds of krautrock and Swedish grunge reverberated through the crumbling plaster walls, evoking the ghosts of fashion history that had long haunted the school’s halls.
